The Role Responsible for process improvement, standard cost and production variance analysis. Maintaining and setting process parameters in order to safeguard Quality Standards and Cost efficiency. Responsible for scale up and process testing plan and procedure, data analysis, and communication of results. Primary contact with Manufacturing and R&D for writing and communication of production specifications. Requires three plus years direct, relevant experience with the ability to operate with little to no direction. Essential Duties & Responsibilities * Analyse and initiate corrective actions for production improvements. * Maintain and adjust Process parameters in the ERP system * Investigation of production cost variances and root course analysis * Coordinates with R&D partners to establish quality and testing conditions for established PolyOne products. * Participate in development of scale up, process testing plan and procedure, data analysis, and/or communication of results. * Documentation and preparation of product specifications for manufacturing PolyOne products. * Participates in resolution of plant production issues. * Utilizes proven project management methods and skills to plan and execute a full range of project sizes and scopes. * Initiate improvement suggestions of our extruder lines and related equipment. * Commissioning of new lines including training documentation and stuff instruction. * Other projects/responsibilities as assigned LI-LJ1 Education/Qualifications Master's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field Language Skills English -(Fluent) Essential German (Fluent) - Essential Swedish - an advantage Skills and Competencies * Analysis * Organisational Skills * Partnering Globally * Communication at a Levels * Achieving results with urgency * Influencing Skills * Results Driven * Lean Six Sigma an advantage Experience 3 - 5 years experience within an operational/process engineering capacity ideally within the Chemicals/Polymer industry, specializing in compounding and extrusion.
