As of May/June 2019 we are looking for a committed intern for at least 4 months in our Corporate Technology Innovation in Hamburg.
Intern Operational Excellence (m/f/d)

Tasks:

The Corporate Center Technology Innovation supports the Business Areas with a focus on the areas of technology, production, research and development, and operational excellence. The team focusses on projects with the Business Area’s experts and strengthens group-wide activities.

As an
Intern Operational Excellence
in the Corporate Center Technology Innovation you support our project managers and thus contribute to the success of our projects. Over the course of the internship you will increasingly take responsibility for internal tasks and independently managed projects.

These tasks will enable you to apply your theoretical knowledge and to apply in practice. Additionally you will learn about the internal processes of Technology Innovation and some of the Körber group’s processes.

We expect that during your studies you have acquired in-depth knowledge to solve problems along the value chain. Ideally you have already gained first experience i.e. in the areas of Operational Excellence, Lean Management, Industry 4.0/ Digitization. You are highly motivated to improve processes and operative strategies and enjoy working in team. For this purpose you apply reliably data analysis tools (e.g. MS Excel) and are able to put findings in a nutshell and to present to a demanding audience.

Qualifications:

• Advanced university studies (or between studies) in industrial engineering or business administration with a

focus on Production Engineering and/ or Business Management

• Strong analytical and conceptual problem solving skills
• Structured, collaborative and responsible way of working
• High motivation and own initiative

Strong communication skills

Very good spoken and written

English

• High IT affinity and confident in using MS Excel and PowerPoint
