YOUR TEAM

For the department of Regulations & Laws, ADAS & Automated Driving, we are looking for an intern.
The main focus of our organizational unit is to facilitate external communication and external product requirements for development of ADAS and Automated driving. The external communication for ADAS/AD is also merged by us and bundled to the appropriate points at CARIAD in order to achieve a consistent presentation to the outside world.

In addition, we also deal with the development of external requirements with regard to product development, like type approval requirements, consumer protection requirements (NCAPs), norms / standards and other legal requirements such as road traffic laws. These requirements have a significant impact on product design. In this way you will contribute to the next generation of ADAS & Automated Driving development. You will work with colleagues at different locations worldwide and in various departments and VW-brands.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Join the Regulations & Laws team for the ADAS & AD which is responsible for provisions of external requirements (Regulations, Standards, NCAPs) for different markets
  • Support the team in monitoring the status of different regulations and laws in different regions and its impact on current projects
  • Support the team in developing and implementing technical interpretation documents, project management processes, new tools, database management, etc.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Enrolled master´s student in the area of engineering, science, software development or technical project management
  • Very good English language skills (spoken and written)
  • Good team and communication skills
  • Analytical understanding of complex systems and problem solving skills
  • Structured and independent work, self-motivated and committed
  • Very good practice of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Power Point, Teams)
  • Knowledge of JIRA / Code beamer / Confluence is a plus
