For our client, an insurance company based in Munich, we are looking for a
Test Manager - Financial Reporting (IFRS 17)
　
on a freelance basis (all genders)
 
Project start: 01.07.2020
Project duration: 6 months +
Location: Munich
Project language: English (German is not needed)
 
　

Tasks:
 
  • Development of test concepts and test plans (requirement testing, end-to-end testing, global integration testing)
  • Central coordination of test activities across a global testing community of 50+ individuals
  • Define and implement structured risk based approach to derive test cases leveraging the IFRS 17 target pictures (functional maps and process inventory)
  • Perform functional review of test cases in respect of consistency and completeness
  • Organization of priority setting of test cases
  • Provide leadership and steering during test preparation, execution and follow up
  • Understand implications from test results on target picture. Define necessary amendments to test strategy based on test results.
  • Communicate test status and test implications to stakeholder community
  • Track test status and test progress
  • Establish reporting and metric to visualize target picture readiness
  • Drive automation and efficiency of testing activity together with the IT Test Manager
 

Skills:
 
  • Profound project/ program management experience with focus on test management (10+ years of business experience preferable in reinsurance business)
  • University degree and professional expertise in insurance, actuarial or accounting
  • Experience in designing and implementing test concepts and test plans across multiple systems and working in a global setup in a multi-disciplinary group
  • Experience with setting of test cases leveraging the IFRS 17 target pictures (functional maps and process inventory)
  • Strong coordination and leadership skills
  • Highly committed and a willingness to assume responsibility
  • Team player
  • Strong analytical skills
  • A highly developed client and service orientation
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
