:

• lead and moderate interdisciplinary teams consisting of plant managers, process developers, project managers and researchers for the development of safety concepts for new technologies, new products and in our diverse global investment projects * lead systematic safety assessments to develop adequate protection concepts for new or existing production processes of high complexity from bayer or strategic bayer partners * lead incident root-cause analysis and communication of the findings in order to continuously improve process and plant safety at bayer * support of operational efficiency initiatives in our production facilities * conduct safety-related commissioning audits in our production plants * support of the permitting process for new production plants or update of permitting documents of existing plants * participate in internal working groups/external committees to intensify the exchange of knowledge in process and plant safety who you are * completed engineering or scientific studies (master's degree or diploma), doctorate preferred * several years of professional experience, preferably in the field of process and plant safety and/or occupational health. it is also possible to apply with sound experience in the field of operation or process development with an interest in process and plant safety. intensive on-the-job training with competent colleagues (internal mentoring program) supports a quick start into self-managed working. * commitment and initiative, strategic thinking, assertiveness as well as a high level of teamwork and openness in communication * occasional travel to our production sites in the emea region for project meetings and safety commissioning audits * expert(m/f/d) according to §29a bimschg preferred * business fluent of german and good knowledge in english, both spoken and written;
