PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The “IT Strategy” team is responsible to continuously advance the organizations’ strategic direction based on the needs and ambitions of the company ensuring digitization & emerging technology opportunities will be addressed. This includes assuring the execution of the strategy through cascading it into the objectives of the IT units. Furthermore, the team drives & supports strategic initiatives and organizational development projects for the CIO & the IT leadership team by providing consulting, analysis, concepts and synthesizing market research.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

You support the transformation of SAP’s IT organization with more than 2,400 employees
You support the IT Strategy team and colleagues from other departments in the fields of strategy (development & communication), data analysis and project management

You support the preparation and facilitation of meetings and thereby gain insights into the operations of one of the world’s leading IT organizations

You support the information collection and information distribution via digital platforms and communication activities in the context of IT Strategy

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
Preferred fields of study: Business Informatics / Informatics / Business Administration
Computer skills: MS Office, MS Sharepoint, preferably SAP Jam
Language skills: EN, DE
Project Management experience
Soft skills: Team player, enthusiastic, open-minded, customer-oriented, communicative, self-driven, reliable
Others: Knowledge about latest trends in Information Technology and first experience with strategy development are a plus

WORK EXPERIENCE

Previous work in a global IT organization, in management consulting or strategy development is beneficial.
Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please describe as well your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
