Job description
- Condition monitoring team at Nordex is a dynamic team working on challenging and high-value projects. Seated in the Service department, we use state-of-the-art methods and tools to monitor vibration/acoustics data from our global wind turbine fleet.
- Have relevant qualifications/experience and want to work with condition monitoring
- Are a team player and looking to expand your knowledge and skills by taking responsibility for high-profile projects
- Are interested in renewable energy and in contributing positively to the climate
- Daily vibration based on-line condition monitoring
- Daily monitoring and troubleshooting of condition monitoring systems functionality
- Event based reporting to local service organisation with actionable recommendations
- Following up and updating reported failures according severity of the failure
- Supporting local service organisation for taking decisions of condition based repairs
Job requirements
- Ideally you should have a degree in mechanical/software engineering or equivalent. Furthermore, we expect you to:
- Have experience in condition monitoring
- Have knowledge of vibration analysis
- Familiar with operational aspects and procedures concerning diagnostics and analyses
- Feel comfortable working in an English speaking environment (strong written and verbal skills in English needed.
- Are a certified vibration analyst ISO CAT I or II
- Have worked previously with gearboxes or drive trains
- Have field experience of investigating and troubleshooting issues with vibration analyses
- Are familiar with vibration measurement hardware and network communications
- Have experience to work with databases, signal processing and acoustics
