Temporary Marketing Assistance Sought for Busy Central London Publishing Office.

Art-book publishers are looking for a temp to provide marketing support for their busy, central London office for approximately 2 months on a part-time basis. You will be required to work 9.00am till 5.00pm, 2 days per week. There is a possibility of this role leading to a permanent position if all goes well!

Key Responsibilities:

To provide marketing assistance to the sales and marketing team as required. Tasks may include but not be limited to the following:

• Preparing text and images for social-media posts, and scheduling them on Hootsuite;
• Preparing image sheets, watermarked layouts and press releases for press packs;
• Researching marketing leads and compiling mailing lists in specific niche areas of our publishing;
• Sending out and chasing up authors’ Marketing Questionnaires;
• Keeping our bibliographic databases and website updated with visual material and review quotes;
• Preparing new-book information for our sales reps and for the London Book Fair in March.

We are looking for someone with excellent written English, good communication skills, a high level of organisation, and ideally an interest in the arts and/or book publishing. Previous office experience is essential, and candidates should ideally have knowledge of InDesign. The role provides useful experience for a graduate keen to work in book publishing or arts marketing.

We would ideally like you to be in the office two full days a week, although we can be flexible about this if necessary.
Rate of pay is £12.00 - £14.00 per hour plus holiday pay.
