As part of the EMEA SCM headquarter, you will be responsible for driving and steering strategic solutions to maximize our supply chain capabilities. Committed to explore new opportunities for improvement and to challenge the status quo, you will be the coordinator and the interface between our Medical Business Units and the SCM cross-functional team responsible for planning, warehousing, logistics, trade, master data, and process management, which is supported by a robust operational structure executed by internal and external service providers.

Your responsibilities

• Acting as SCM connection between the function and business Senior Management
• Analyze and evaluate business-related inquiries assessing their effectiveness and monetary impact in collaboration with your strategic partners
• Responsible for the continuous monitoring of KPIs, processes, and projects towards European stakeholders
• Lead and coordinate out-of-the-box strategic solutions driven by business needs
• Manage ad-hoc issues resolution and mediate in escalations between business and operational stakeholders
• Evaluate market developments and derive change requirements for Supply Chain Management coordinating their implementation
• Monitor and set the SC budget and discuss possible developments

Your qualification

• You have an academic background in supply chain, engineering or business administration
• You have several years of experience within SCM environments ideally with a proven track record in the coordination of cross-functional activities
• You have proven experience in working with interdisciplinary teams and implementing new business areas, products and processes, ideally in the supply chain
• You are thrilled to present and show your knowledge and are able to adapt your content to different target groups
• You demonstrate excellent communication skills in English across all levels of the organization (German and other languages are beneficial)
• You are characterized by your analytical skills to identify risks and optimization potentials
