A fast-growing, dynamic technology company in Munich are looking for an Information Security Officer to join their risk and compliance team.
 
You will be working within the company’s world-class multidisciplinary team, reporting directly to the Director of Risk and Compliance. The company are growing, and this is a new role borne out of that growth meaning that you will be able to make a real difference with implementing your own strategies and ideas.

 
You will be charged with several key duties that will help ensure the smooth running of the team. This will include researching new and innovative solutions for information security, assess threats and risks to current and future models as well as recommending new methods and systems and regularly conducting perimeter and internal security assessments.

 
You will need to have a thorough understanding of the available tools and technologies to protect and monitor information security coupled with a technical background. You will also need to have experience with understanding a variety of security threats and their business relevance as well as exposure to both on-premise and cloud-based systems. 

 
You will be joining a diverse, international team in a vibrant city. For this reason, we are ideally looking for people with English and German fluency for this role.
