A unique opportunity has arisen within one of our
Terminals and Connectors Business Units
for a
Sales Director to join our Global Leadership Team
. Reporting to the Global Vice President for Business Transformation, the Sales Director will have responsibility for driving profitable growth through the development and implementation of sales strategy for Lear’s Global Customer base. Joining an organization that has seen significant investment in 2020, you will have responsibility for a global team of Sales and Account Managers whilst being entrusted inspire the overall sales process as well as taking a lead on all major program quotations.

As Sales Director your duties will include (but not be limited to):

  • Building a bench of talent that delivers on Global Sales Strategy and Product Roadmap Initiatives
  • Developing pricing strategies to grow Lear sales revenues
  • Taking a lead in major customer negotiation discussions and quotation preparation.
  • Leading quotations for change requests to awarded programs improving Lear profitability
Required Skills

To be a success in this role you will need

  • 10 years + Sales experience within the fields of Electronics, Wiring or Connection Systems
  • 5 years + experience in a Global Leadership role leading diverse and multi-cultural organizations
  • A hands-on mentality and proven experience in negotiating with all level’s OEM / T1 Customers
  • A track record of delivering incremental growth year upon year
  • A technical degree within the field of Mechanics, Electrical or Economics is desirable
  • Full working proficiency of English and German language is essential
