PhD (m/f/x) Subject TKTD modelling based on time
Subject: TKTD modelling based on time- and dose-resolved omics data in toxicology
Project start: 1st February 2020. Working time 65% (25,35 hours per week), limited to 3 years.Your tasks:
- Development of a mathematical toxicokinetic-toxicodynamic (TKTD) model for the zebrafish embryo system
- Combination of mechanistic modelling and bioinformatics
- Integration of available data on internal chemical concentration dynamics and molecular effect dynamics for mechanistic understanding of toxicological processes
Your profile:
- Master’s degree in Systems Biology, Modelling, Chemistry, Biology, Toxicology, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Bioinformatics or similar
- Strong interest in modelling and working with data
- Strong English and communication skills and interest in working in an interdisciplinary context and project
- Skills in R, Matlab or similar are highly beneficial
- Background in toxicology is beneficial but not required
