B2B Marketing Specialist - DACH, Scandinavia, Eastern Europe (m/f/d)
Location : Düsseldorf, NRW, GermanyPart-time position (25 hours per week)

SBD Automotive (www.sbdautomotive.com) is a rapidly growing global automotive technology research consultancy. Founded in 1997, we provide our clients across the automotive industry with actionable insights and analysis in the fields of Connected Car (Infotainment, Telematics, In-Vehicle Apps, etc.), Autonomous Car (ADAS, active safety, autonomous vehicle, V2X), and Secure Car (automotive security and cyber security). We work with 95% of the world’s leading vehicle manufacturers as well as suppliers, associated industries, and governments in more than 70 countries.
Our German office, based in Düsseldorf (responsible for DACH, Scandinavia and Eastern Europe) is hiring a Marketing Specialist with B2B Marketing experience to support our continued growth and expansion.
Position Responsibilities
The role will be varied, with a primary focus on providing local support and initiatives to increase brand awareness and grow our customers throughout the DACH, Scandinavia and Eastern Europe region (Germany region) through:
- Delivering targeted marketing campaigns for the SBD Germany region
- Prioritizing targets and generating qualified leads for our sales team
- Supporting SBD’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Marketing Automation Platform (MAP) system
- Growing our social media network through engaging events, updates and other marketing initiatives blogs
- Project manage and organise events within SBD Germany region
- Coordinating marketing collateral with global marketing team for German trade shows, conferences, and local marketing events
- Assisting at trade shows and industry conferences
- Limited travel (within SBD Germany area) may be required (customer visits, trade shows, etc.)
- Maintaining our media contact lists and enhancing the growth of our press coverage
- Establish professional connections with agreed SBD Germany business partners and other businesses to promote SBD.
- Minimum Bachelor degree level education, or equivalent, in Marketing
- At least 2 years of work experience within a Marketing agency or a B2B Marketing role
- Experience gained within the automotive supplier industry is desirable but not essential
- Effective and creative communications skills both oral and written and fluent in German and English. An additional language from DACH, Scandinavian and Eastern European countries is desirable but not essential
- Demonstrated social media acumen
- Strong attention to detail
- Well organized, able to multitask and prioritize with experience in project/event management
- Flexibility and agility to work in a start-up organisation
- Computer proficient – MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
- Experience with graphic design software and creating marketing materials is desirable but not essential
- Team player with passion for automotive technology
- Customer Relation Management (CRM e.g. MS Dynamics) system and marketing tool (e.g. Marketo) experience is an advantage.
