Senior Service Product & Portfolio Manager (m/w/d)

Tasks:

The (Senior) Service Product & Portfolio Manager is responsible for steering and managing all strategic elements of our Service Products and Service Portfolio, including coordination and development of all product relevant aspects from market analysis, product idea, marketing and service sales.

Role and Resposibilities:

• Planning and implementation of the Service Product – Strategy (Market- and Portfolio- Strategy)
• Project lead and development of new service products and general After Market services including new business models and digitized services
• Management and standardization of existing service product portfolio as well as alignment and harmonization of service products at individual companies within Körber Logistics Systems Group
• Pricing and strategic positioning of service products as well as monitoring of success and implementation of executed strategy (profitability, growth rates, etc.)
• Initiation and coordination of Service Product Development Process
• Map service product requirement with existing internal capabilities (internal processes, organisation, IT systems, etc.)
• Collection and aggregation of market and customer information and provision of strategic recommendations for Service business
• Competitor benchmarking and identification of general industry and service trends
• Preparation of sales argumentation and additional supporting sales material for service sales team
• Conduct training on service products at all Körber Logistics Systems companies
• Sparring-Partner for Service Sales and Service Product Management Teams at individual companies within Körber Logistics Systems Group

Qualifications:

• Degree in business, economics, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or similar
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in (Service) Product Management, ideally in machine building industry (AMHE), plant engineering industry or automotive industry
• High affinity for technical products
• Broad experience in project and process management, sales and marketing
• Strategic vision and deep understanding of After Sales Service products and processes
• Experience in preparing and giving professional presentations
• Conceptual thinking, analytical mindset and ability to tailor and prepare complex topics for different target groups
• Strong and persuasive verbal and written communication skills, high ability to motivate, confident demeanour and excellent team working skills
• Business fluent in German and English (spoken and written) and confident manner with international issues
• Very good command of MS-Office applications
• Willingness to travel internationally
