Senior Data Scientist (m/f/d) for established medtech company

Work with more than 300 medical experts, scientists, bioinformatics, researchers from over 40 countries on the world’s largest database for rare diseases. Become part of this client of mine, an exciting health-tech leader and transform clinical data into medical solutions.
Your tasks:
- As a Senior Data Scientist, you derive diagnostic solutions to accurately identify rare disease patients.
- You perform complex statistical analyses on large data sets of unique clinical and genetic data.
- You are responsible for requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment and documentation of AI-based IT applications addressing specific needs in the business workflow.
- You develop innovative AI-based solutions together with the specialists from medical reporting and bio-informatics.
- You communicate project status to AI/IT management and business clients, and propose changes in project scope, time line, or plans if necessary.
Your profile:
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in the entire life cycle of software development including documentation.
- Extensive programming experience in applying artificial intelligence methods, frameworks, libraries, and services for solving challenging problems, especially with a focus on knowledge-based approaches (semantic knowledge representation, graph databases, inference, logic).
- Excellent communication skills in English, German is a plus.
- Ideally an understanding of bio technology / life sciences in general, as well as bio-informatics
