PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The "Core Application Services" team provides central software components ready for reuse in business applications. Some examples are: Email, electronic data interchange, interactive and print forms, archiving. We are 25 software developers and are looking for three graduates or young professionals for additional reinforcement.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

Focus of our work is the development of new and the redesign of existing components for our cloud products. We are full stack developers. Our frameworks are used by numerous applications. Hence advising colleagues and supporting customers, but also working with partners is an important part of our work. One of SAP’s unique selling propositions is excellent product support. Therefore regular upskilling of SAP’s first level support organization is also part of the job.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Required skills

• Degree as IT specialist, bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, natural sciences, engineering, economics or similar.
• Good knowledge of an object-oriented programming language.
• Good language skills in German and English, spoken and written.
• Willingness to learn, because we will teach you a lot of things that you will need for your future work.
• Enjoy working in a team.
• Have fun puzzling.

Preferred skills

Knowledge of SQL is useful.

WORK EXPERIENCE

We are looking for candidates who have recently completed their studies / vocational training or will complete soon or have up to 3 years of professional experience.
