This person needs to hit the ground running, replacing somebody who is on garden leave due to a conflict of interest with their next role.
You are the only person with this skill set in the team so you'll typically have 
a lot of freedom
 to do whatever you want, so long as it's adding value to the company.
I'm looking for 
3 years experience
, but please don't count yourself out

From my perspective the 
salary is exactly on market
 and will scale accordingly.
The Job.

• The basic tools are

 VBA, R 

and

 Matlab.

Energy

 market knoweledge; commodities...

• Notions of 

meteorology

.

• Good knowledge of 

options

: your job is to take trader positions, to price, to hedge, to structure products.

• You report directly to the head of trading, who is also CEO so is not an important part of your day to day; there's a team leader.
• You're in tune with 'start up'/non-corporate vibes and ways of working.
