Responsibilities

• You understand business problems in pharmaceutical industries
• You drive innovation throughout the organization by analysing opportunities
• Developing complex models and algorithms to address them
• You conduct advanced statistical analysis to assess feasibility
• You demonstrate thought leadership by researching best practices, conducting experiments and collaborating with industry leaders and peers
• You create convincing visualizations to communicate analysis outcomes
• You collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

Skills

• You have several years of experience in a senior data science and/or statistical role, ideally in a pharmaceutical/ healthcare or life-science environment
• You have a MS/PhD in computer science, statistics, economics, mathematics
• You are fluent in English (knowledge of German language is a plus)
• Have a deep knowledge of machine learning, statistics, optimization or related field
• You have experience with Python or R and have background knowledge in programming in C, C++ and Java
• You have working experience with large data sets (e.g. using SQL/noSQL, ETL tools etc.), machine learning frameworks, simulation/optimization
• You have strong communication skills
