A fantastic opportunity for a Finance Brand Category & Customer Manager to join RB's Health Business Unit.
As a member of the Finance team, you will have a key finance position in RB DACH Finance organization supporting the Commercial leaders as a strategicbusiness partner in delivering profitable financial growth while providing a full spectrum of financial control and financial support to the brands/customers within RB DACH.
Key parts of this role will include:
Preparing timely and accurate category/ sales plans, forecasts, outlooks and strategic viewsProviding market analysis to understand and explain significant category/ customer performance variations from historical or expected results
Ensuring a seat at the decision table and providing high caliber respected advice/ information for all strategic business initiatives (such as sizing, packaging, pricing decisions, etc)
Supporting and challenging (if necessary) category assumptions in analyzing and implementing business growth opportunities, such as new product development and investment analysis
Owning and understanding all aspects of the Commercial P&L, acting as liaison between category management and Supply Finance with respect to S&OP planning, cost assumptions, commodity movements, squeeze targets, inventory obsolescence, etc.
Developing strong understanding of all category/ customer trade investment strategies
Supporting Key Account managers providing necessary tools and information for year-end negotiations with customers
Managing functionality, usage and continuous improvement of various financial tools, process and procedures
Maintaining positive and proactive interaction with sales/marketing departments to ensure ongoing, effective two-way working relationships for exchange of quality financial information
Ensuring suitable tracking is in place to understand the portfolio performance at a category and SKU level, understanding growth products and drivers, and also vulnerable products and drivers; taking action as required
Controlling the trade and marketing budgets, providing ROI analysis of
marketing and promotional activities
Is this you?
Minimum Bachelor degree in Businesses Administration (Berufsakademie), major in finance would be nice to have
Job experience: 3-5 years’ working experience in Finance /Commercial Controlling
Experience in extremely competitive, fast moving FMCG environment Industry: Branded Consumer Goods companies
Strong system direction and interaction (SAP, Daily Sales, Microsoft Office, TM1)
Strong commercial understanding
Good to advanced accounting skills
Excellent MS Excel knowledge
Problem solver with a high result orientation
- Highly analytical self-starter, process-driven and self-motivated with drive
German would be nice to have
