Job Details

A world leading pharmaceutical company is looking for an experienced cardiovascular physician to lead in the expansion of their existing blockbuster portfolio. You will play a leading role alongside the Head of Clinical Development in key decision-making processes.

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead phase II and III clinical trials within cardiology
• Develop and conduct scientific and clinical trial protocols
• Making or assisting in adjustments of clinical investigation plans, reports and publications
• Ensure trial conduct, data and submission documents ensuring preparedness for registration
• Utilising your clinical expertise and KOL Networks to maintain a strong understanding of key customer groups and patient needs
• Contribute to key decisions within trial-related and external committee meetings in collaboration with the Head of Clinical Development
• Provide leadership, both medical and scientific

Requirements

• Medical Doctor by training
• Clinical background in cardiology, paediatrics or internal medicine
• Clinical development experience within Pharma
• Understanding and exposure to regulatory agencies such as FDA and EMA
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• German language skills are advantageous
