Director of Technology (IT) – (w/m/d)

Werden Sie Teil eines motivierten Teams und gestalten Sie gemeinsam mit der Hochschulleitung die strategisch technologischen Ziele der WHU.
Ihre Aufgaben

• Weiterentwicklung und Umsetzung der IT-Strategie der Hochschule
• Gesamtverantwortung für die IT-Ausrichtung in der Organisation
• Leitung und Entwicklung des IT-Teams
• Innovationstreiber für die technologische Entwicklung der Hochschule und ihren akademischen Programmen
• Gewährleistung einer modernen, sicheren und skalierbaren IT-Landschaft
• Verantwortung für die Realisierung digitaler Lösungen
• Beratung und Unterstützung bei digitalen Projekten und Prozessen in Lehre, Forschung und Verwaltung
• Kommunikation mit allen Stakeholder-Gruppen der Hochschule

Ihr Profil

• Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik oder vergleichbare Qualifikation
• Führungserfahrung und mehrjährige Praxiserfahrungen im Bereich IT Operations
• Eigenständige, strukturierte und selbstständige Arbeitsweise mit einem hohen Maß an Zuverlässigkeit, Serviceorientierung und Teamfähigkeit
• Sehr gute Kenntnisse beim Umgang mit Office 365 Lösungen
• Analytische und strategische Fähigkeiten mit hoher Umsetzungsstärke
• Sehr gute kommunikative Fähigkeiten in deutscher und englischer Sprache

Job Description

• Development and implementation of the university's IT strategy
• Responsibility for IT orientation in the organization
• Management and development of the IT team
• Innovation of drivers for the technological development of the university and its academic programs
• Ensuring a modern, secure and scalable IT environment
• Responsibility for the realization of digital solutions
• Consulting and support for digital projects and processes in teaching, research and administration
• Communication with all stakeholder groups of the university

Job Qualifications

• Successfully completed studies in informatics or similar qualification in a relevant field of expertise
• Management experience and several years of practical experience in the field of IT operations
• Ability to work independently and well-structured with reliability, service orientation and teamwork
• Excellent, proven experience in handling Office 365 solutions
• Excellent analytical and strategic skills
• Excellent communication skills in German and English
