SUB-REGIONAL VICE-PRESIDENT - Central, East & South (CES) Europe REGION - EMEALA - JOB DESCRIPTION POSITION SPECIFICATION The main responsibilities of the Sub-Regional Vice-President for the CES region in EMEALA are in close cooperation with UL's business units and UL's regions to profitably grow sub-regional POC (Point-of-Customer) revenue faster than competition;

to meet or exceed POC revenue goals in the sub-region;
to identify new marketsboth geographically and within services (organic and in-organic);
to build a strong identity among employees of one UL by creating a sense of belonging and local compliance

key responsibilities * ensures ul's success and future growth by effectively identifying market opportunities and competitive threats. builds relevant relationship with key sub-region and bu / division stakeholders. * provides sub-region input to bu budgets and strategies and executes on agreed upon plans for both organic and in-organic growth in the sub-region. * builds strategic and go2market plans for the sub-region, working closely with the business units to drive growth. * responsible for achieving top line poc revenue goals and market leading growth in the sub-region. * key driver to establish regional account management (in line with the gams) across ul's bus in the sub-region and create further growth for the overall ul enterprise value. * in agreement with the bus, provides leadership and guidance to all affiliates and across all functions in the sub-region ensuring high level of operational efficiency, customer and employee satisfaction and profitable business performance. proactively evaluates and generates ideas on how to improve profitable business performance in the region and in coordination with other regions. * engages and motivates all employees in the sub-region with a common vision, sense of purpose, and shared objectives for ul. * maintains focus on core public safety mission and ensures compliance to core ul policies such as ul's code of conduct. * supports ul culture change to serve customers globally with innovation, speed, quality and financial success;

at the same time preserve positive workforce qualities of dedicated service to ul's public safety mission. * co-owns (with the bu's) and drives building a strong and internationally capable management team, including developing bench strength for long term succession planning focusing on the internal development of high potential employees wherever possible. * provides leadership and recommendation to ul's footprint and local sites in the sub-region to achieve optimized solutions for ul overall. * sets clear standards for ethical and legal compliance. what makes you a great fit:
