Civil Engineer - Manheim (CE -MH 2000) Mannheim, Germany

My client are currently recruiting for a German speaking Civil Engineer on a contract basis for a role based in Mannheim, Germany.
 
The role will initially be offered on a 12 month contract, with possibility of extension based on workload.
 

Responsibilities:

 

• Verify structural calculations for heavy industrial projects (steel and concrete structures) 
• Checking design calculations
• Assist in updating weight report
• Assisting designers with 3D model development
• Effectively communicates complex technical solutions and concepts to other engineers and non-engineers

Skill Requirements:

• A degree in Civil/Structural engineering.
• Proficient in using calculation tools and MS Office.
• Strong knowledge of international design standards & codes of practice and knowledge in TEKLA Structures / BIM Software.
• Fluent in German and English
