Project Engineer-Structural/Jacket

(Jacket) Structural Engineers / Oil & Gas / Cologne 
My Oil & Gas client are looking to recruit several Structural Engineers to focus on jacket design freelance contracts in Cologne. This position will be for 12 months. You will be required to fulfil design requirements and translate these to technical solutions with the engineering contractor and manage relations with this sub-contractor and the internal team. Time extensions regarding this role are possible - whether it be the same project or on additional other O&G and Offshore Wind projects that they are currently implementing.

Experienced required- • Design tasks mainly involve Jacket design as well as Leading a team of engineers and communicate with other disciplines including CAD. Load determination, stress analysis, structural steel design using computational software design tools and hand calculations as appropriate • Coordinate structural engineering with other engineering disciplines. •

Involvement in leading the design of jacket structures to ISO 19902, other appropriate codes such as API and NORSOK are advantageous.
