As part of our drive to develop and enhance our technical support offering from our Budapest office we are recruiting for a Linux and MySQL Engineer. This role will be operating as part of our dynamically growing EMEA Cloud and Infrastructure Services team. * Responsible for Linux OS administration/maintenance and regular security patching under the customer's Big Data Services platform * Responsible for MySQL administration/maintenance and regular patching within the customer's Big Data Services platform * Validating and implementing backup and restore strategy * Integrating servers with OEM monitoring and Auto Service Request * Handling the monitoring tasks (OS, MySQL, MIT KDC health/replication monitoring) * Setting up the security patching infrastructure (OEM or Spacewalk) * Maintaining and updating operational documentation * Handling ILOM console configuration and administration Why should you join us? * Plenty of room for both individual and collaborative work * Work with the latest and most advanced technologies in a rapidly evolving environment * You could solve complex issues, work with a wide range of technologies * You may travel to Germany for knowledge transfer and projects * Shape your future career by participating on technical and soft skill trainings You will be successful in this role if you have:
- 3+ years Unix/Linux Engineer experience * Excellent conceptual understanding and experience in * RedHat Enterprise Linux version 6/7/8 * MySQL * Bash / Python scripting * Automation with Ansible & Ansible Tower * The following skills are an advantage:
- Hadoop & Cloudera Big Data stack * Oracle Enterprise Linux * Spacewalk or Oracle Enterprise Manager
