Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) Specialist

(Munich, Pharma, GxP, GMP, ELN, LIMS, English/German)

My client is an IT Services and Engineering Solutions company with operations across Europe.

Their strength is in providing proven standard and individually tailored solutions, helping their customers achieve their strategic and business goals. Their core competencies are consulting and IT services in the area of IT infrastructure, service management, system engineering, migrations and operations.

They are currently looking for a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) Specialist in Munich Germany, to join our team. This is a great opportunity to work in an IT industry with exposure to new technologies and an international environment.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Collaborate directly with internal and external technical team members in order translate into design and build technical specifications
• Support existing ELN, LIMS, Composite and additional SQL databases and their integrations
• Identify process improvements and work collaboratively within the whole IT department to implement cross functional change
• Compose, maintain and review system documents such as requirement specifications, design specifications and test scripts
• Evaluate new technologies and identify how they meet our business needs

Skills and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Familiarity with laboratory workflows within the Biotech or Pharmaceutical industry
• Experience utilizing a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies (GMP knowledge a plus)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Strong communication skills and ability to build positive, professional, and productive business relationships with internal and external clients.
• Fluency in German and English language (spoken and written).
