Job Description Come and join Mars in Verden! Senior Tax Analyst (m/f/d) This position is responsible for executing the day-to-day direct and indirect tax activities for the respective business units, ensuring that business units meet their tax objectives and obligations. He/she will ensure compliance and reporting deadlines are met in a timely manner with correct tax reporting and filing with relevant tax authorities for all applicable taxes including but not limited to corporate income tax, withholding taxes, VAT and such other similar direct and indirect taxes. The Senior Tax Analyst will be part of a very experienced, dynamic finance community

Tasks

:
tax compliance & reporting - prepare and file accurate tax computations;
prepare all required documentation in support of tax computations and submissions. tax controversy & transfer pricing - at all times, follow the principle of mutuality in engaging with both internal (business units, global tax teams) and external stakeholders. tax planning - implement tax planning measures ;

quantify and follow through benefits arising out of tax planning measures. managing tax risks - follow the framework for internal and external control and governance in tax management;

implement tax risk control initiatives including annual self-assessment to identify, evaluate and mitigate tax exposure. your profile :

• university degree/ bachelor's degree in finance /accounting * 5 years in tax function (preferably in an fmcg/mnc) or big 4 tax experience * analysis of financial statements (german and us gaap) as well as business plans we offer:
