Are you an Electronic / Electrical Engineer with experience in Semiconductor device design looking to be seen as an industry expert as you take the lead on technically advanced projects for next generation technology?
This excellent opportunity is the chance to showcase your skills as you will be the go to person for really exciting projects in the company’s Semiconductor Power electronics department, heading up the team of talented engineers you will act as the technical authority and expert.
The Company themselves are market leaders in next generation technology and are going from strength to strength globally, due to current expansion plans in Europe they are looking to add a Senior expert to take the lead in their Semiconductor technology division.
This would be the perfect position for a Principle Design Engineer with experience in Semiconductor devices looking to work in the future technology whilst playing a key part in the company’s ongoing success.
The Role:
- Act as a technical authority and expert on Power Semiconductor Device
- Defines technology based critical success factors, provides high-level direction and significant input to proposals.
- Take ownership over understanding client requirements and drivers and foresee technical challenges, successfully interacting with clients both technically and commercially
- Define construction of power semiconductor design platform, including device layout design, TCAD simulation, and bench testing and reliability evaluation platform. Provide necessary training for key personnel.
- Participate in the technical and trend analysis of the new generation power semiconductors;
The Person:
- Experience in Semiconductor Power Electronics
- Degree in Power Electronics / Electrical Engineering
- Happy to work and live in Nuremburg
- Experience leading a team
