Job Description Essential Responsibilities * Control line of balance and safety stock of transport fixtures for manufactured goods and material shipped direct * Organize return transport from construction sites in EU and Non-EU countries, including re-importation actions, liaise with Import / Export functions * Monitor and optimize the fixture inventory in Salzbergen and global storage locations. Perform inventory counts * Initiate fixture investments and purchases in cooperation with finance and sourcing * Track and analyze fixture utilization time. Identify and translate improvement actions to reduce budget cost and cycle times * Maintain and update quality documents like work desk instructions, checklists for loading and unloading of fixtures;

train applicable parties * Track and communicate non-conformities and claim to responsible party * Setup annual budget plan of fixture invest, lease, MRO costs * Monitor and fulfill detailed KPI goals on returned fixtures in regular reviews * Identify obsolete fixtures, organize inter-company sales or scrapping * Cooperate with Outbound Logistics, GSCM, Engineering, and Product Management on design of new fixture types * Assess and implement 4PL-provider concepts as well as leasing concepts for fixtures * Re-examine current practices considering changing business environment, new vendors and requirements Role Summary/Purpose As a member of the Outbound Logistics team you will be responsible for managing the volume and return of transport fixtures to Salzbergen and GE supplier facilities. Qualifications/Requirements * Relevant work experience in logistics related functions with focus on closed-loop supply chains, especially on reverse logistics or container logistics * Completed vocational training in logistics related subject (e. G. forwarding agent, export merchant) or with logistics focus or university degree in logistics related subject to demonstrate applicable knowledge base * Proven knowledge of import / export matters with extended skills in customs procedures to manage international transports * Experience in managing international business transaction and shipping documents * Proficiency in ERP operations, preferably Oracle applications and Microsoft Office applications to gather and analyze data * Clear thinking mindset to understand complex situations and act adequately * Self-confident and persistent characteristics for investment requests and claim management * High communication skills with the ability to work with and through global, cross-functional teams including internal customer, suppliers, and service providers * Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize diverse tasks with a proven ability to meet hard deadlines * Fluent verbal and writing skills in English and German Desired Characteristics * Experience with Tableau software applications * Technical background about truck and container packing and lashing concepts About Us GE Renewable Energy is a 9 billion dollar start-up that brings together one of the broadest product and service portfolios of the renewable energy industry.
