Aerospace Engineer (m/f/x)

At our headquarters in Gilching near Munich, we are looking for a full time Aerospace Engineer (m/f/x) to start as soon as possible.
What awaits you at Mynaric
- You will conduct structural and aerodynamic analysis, according to specific mission goals, on our devices and the mechanical interfaces.
- Implementation of your analytical findings, for different applications throughout all Mynaric segments (Air, Space, Ground) is an integral part of your tasks.
- Based on your previous experience you will ensure that all modifications meet the necessary standards and regulations.
- In due time you will make assessments to ensure safety on equipment and environment through analysis and risk assessment.
- Supporting hands-on ground and flight test events through test planning (including mission definition, flight pattern definition, …), test execution, and data evaluation in a dynamic environment will give you hands on experience on the mechanical interfaces you implemented.
- You will work with multidisciplinary systems and accomplish tasks that cover a wide range of design activities on air, sea, and/or land vehicles.
What you bring with you
- You have successfully completed your studies in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or similar.
- Experience with FEA and CFD analysis.
- Ability to assess, recommend and design new concepts and ideas for modification of aerospace platforms.
- Knowledge on navigation is an advantage.
- Software and tools: STK, CAD Software (Autodesk Inventor, …), Simulation tools (ANSYS, Comsol, …).
- Ability to travel worldwide.
- Good English skills. Knowledge of German is an advantage.
- Team-player with good communication skills for interdisciplinary teams.
- You are a results-oriented, reliable and pro-active person, who works responsibly and independently.
