Your role and responsibilities:- You independently manage the entire credit management process within your area of responsibility and serve as contact for the respective Global Business Units regarding all credit management topics. * In this role, with your preparation and review of credit risk assessments for Heraeus key customers, customer groups and subcontractors you strongly support the Heraeus business units. * You support the further development of our global credit management strategy, guidelines and processes with regional differentiation. * Furthermore you will be responsible for the preparation, implementation and support of credit committees and credit management trainings. * Monitoring the trade financing, ensuring compliance with our credit management guidelines as well as analyzing the market environment with regard to potential credit management risks will also be part of your role. What is required for this role:
- Successfully completed university degree in business administration or equivalent * Professional experience (min. 3 years) in credit management, experience in credit insurance topics * Familiar with bookkeeping procedures (especially IFRS, HGB, US-GAAP) * Strong IT skills, especially in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), SAP R/3 and BI reporting tools * Fluent in English, strong business acumen and communication as well as interpersonal skills * Willingness to make independet decisions and to independently assume risks in balance between credit risk and business risk * Independent and pro-active working style, good team player as well as high reliability even under high work load If you want to do more than make a living, at Heraeus you can make a difference.
