YOUR TEAM
As part of the technology and architecture team, your focus will be the product data management. You are responsible for the bill of material. You build and maintain the bill of material for the CARIAD-related hardware components and software clusters with your team. Beside the operational tasks you will act as a team lead, you plan and organize your team.WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Plan and organize the product management team
- Build and continuously maintain the bill of materials up to date (with your team)
- Advise process partners like change management, release management, or CARIAD developers on documentation and check provided information for plausibility
- Organize and lead product data examination sessions in cooperation with developers and dedicated counterparts across the VW Group
- Actively inspect data quality on a regular basis using standardized methods and tools
- Adhere to agreed deadlines in the project and, if necessary, escalate in the event of impeding delays
- Support and optimize the development of new data management methods and process workflows
WHO YOU ARE
- Successfully completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, information technology or computer science or gained similar competence and experience on the job
- Several years of project management experience
- Strong knowledge and hands on experience in product data management and the maintenance of the bill of materials
- Deep insight into product management software (e.g. TI-Synchro, HyperKVS, AVON, Connect, …)
- Experience in vehicle project processes like the product development process
- Networking person used to interact with peers all over the organizations
- Fluent English language skills (oral and written), German language skills are a plus
