Specialist for SOX IT
(m/f/d) you will be part of the SOX IT Team which reports directly to the CIO. You work strongly together with Atotech’s IT Functions in order to ensure regulatory SOX Compliance throughout the entire financial year. Key focus areas of your work are continuous IT SOX Lifecycle Management for existing and new systems and processes and IT SOX Controls Testing. Furthermore you will collaborate with our external IT auditor and provide the needed support. Atotech is in preparation of its IPO and first SOX Year. You will be part of this exciting journey and success story of Atotech.

Your responsibilies

• As SOX IT Specialist you will be part of the IT SOX Team which reports directly to the CIO
• You will work strongly together with Atotech’s IT Functions in order to ensure regulatory SOX Compliance throughout the financial year
• Within IT SOX Lifecycle Management you will support IT Functions on risk assessment, process management and design of effective IT controls
• In addition, you create and update SOX documentation, i.e. process narratives, flowcharts, Risk-Control Matrix, Standard Operating Procedures, supporting documents
• You will conduct parts of the SOX IT Controls Testing including IT General Controls, IT Application Controls and Key Report Testing in alignment with the IT SOX Manager
• On continuous bases you will track the testing status and deliverables, communicate test results, prepare management reports and provide guidance on remediation and mitigating actions
• Furthermore, you will interact with external stakeholders such as external auditor and our SOX consultant
• As SOX IT Specialist you will provide continuous improvement ideas and initiatives and have the opportunity to work on special assignments as needed (i.e. IT projects)

Your

skills and competences

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred (but not limited to) in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, Economics and/or equivalent
• Experienced associate or senior associate within Big4 IT Audit firms (>3 years), with consulting, IT risk management, and project management experience
• Familiarity with SOX requirements and the COSO internal control framework, control design and operation efficiency of financial process controls, ITGCs, Cyber Security & Infrastructure
• CISA Certification preferrable

Skillset

• ISAE 3402 Type II / SOC report understanding
• Understanding of IT General Controls, IT Application Controls and Segregation of Duties
• Able to test Automated Controls/ Application Controls
• Strong written and spoken English language skills. German would be a plus
• SAP Skills: ability to use SAP Basis related transactions in all audited SAP Systems (ERP, BW, HR and others) e.g. ABAP Dictionary, Table Browser, Program Execution, SAP User Information System, System Parameter Settings, IT Application controls (SPRO READ), Key Report testing (ABAP READ)
• SAP GRC Basic Knowledge
• Basic Skills in Data Analysis and Excel Macro Programming
