NLP Expert Senior Data Scientist (m/f/d)

Interested in a start-up for grown-ups? My client is a venture backed AI based software company working with audio, visual, and language-based data. The 20 PhDs, Data Scientists, NLP Experts and Data Engineers are looking for a Senior Data Scientist being a NLP Expert to join the Berlin site.

The Tasks
You incorporate the latest findings from NLP research into a working product.
You design and implement Machine Learning algorithms which can identify compliance issues in video or audio data.
You are getting hands-on with the entire life cycle of data collection, modelling, to prototyping, coding and delivering to production.
Help to grow the team on the ground here in Berlin, setting standards for scalable growth.
Your Profile
Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years industry work experience in the field of Natural Language Processing after finishing the PhD.
Well versed with NLP techniques, both classic (tf-idf, topic modeling) and recent (contextual embeddings).
Professional experience developing with Python (incl. TensorFlow, Keras, NumPy, Scikit-Learn)
Experience with software development in a cloud environment including requirements, demos, source code control (Git), defect tracking (Jira), estimation and planning, build, test automation, CI/CD

Comfortable working in a start-up environment.
Ability to work both independently and in a team.
Fluent English language skills, Hebrew, German or any other language is a huge plus.
