Primarily focused on the German market, but also supporting our teams across the Europe, Middle East and Africa region, you& ll be involved in delivering an exciting and broad range of digitally-driven marketing programmes. Hitachi High-Tech Analytical Science, headquartered in Oxford, UK, conducts professional research and development, as well as manufacturing analytical instruments in Finland, Germany and China. Our sales and service departments operate worldwide. Our broad portfolio includes robust, high-performance instruments for measuring material and layer thicknesses in the production process - from raw material extraction, to incoming goods and manufacturing, to quality control and recycling. Marketing communications assistant (m/f/d) What the job entails: As part of a global team, you will implement digital marketing strategies that increase customer awareness of our brand in EMEA and Germany. Your objective: to sustainably strengthen Hitachi High-Tech& s brand position and generate high-quality sales leads. With this in mind, you will take over management of the company& s social media feeds and content calendar, as well as playing a leading role in our events programme and the associated advertising campaigns in Germany. In addition, you will be responsible for regularly updating the German website and ensuring content on the French and Russian websites is updated according to need. You will also coordinate the translation of English marketing materials into German and other European languages as required, as well as managing our regional press database and online directory relationships. Naturally you will keep a close eye on the budget at all times, as well as observing current market developments and competitor activities. You will keep our employees in Germany informed about our latest news and activities. Our distributors will also greatly appreciate your expert support with their marketing efforts. Last but not least, you will actively contribute to the advancement of our marketing strategy with local case studies, ROI tracking, and regular reports. How you can strengthen our team even further: You will have successfully completed a degree in business administration, economics, or communication studies, ideally with a focus on marketing (or a comparable educational equivalent with a focus on marketing) You will have some experience in marketing or communications You will have experience of SEO, online advertising (PPC), and database and email marketing You will be familiar with inbound, content and social media marketing, especially via LinkedIn Using content management systems (CMS) will be second nature to you You will be skilled at writing in German as a native speaker and fluent in English.
