Area Sales Manager - German
Description and responsibilities:
- Being responsible for the sales of all products of the client in your territory
- Developing and executing plans to convince single departments and/ or whole hospitals to use the products
- Presenting the client's technology as the first class standard of care in pulse-oximetry and other noninvasive blood parameters' monitoring systems
- Demonstrating products and negotiating both with people like physicians, hospital managers, purchasers
- Supporting/ advising retailers and their sales personnel in how to sell the products
- Reporting regularly to the management (market trends, competitors activities, product design, regulatory and production requirements, your sales forecasts)
- Actively participating to hospital bid tenders
- Planning the budget for all necessary activities
Your profile:
- 3+ years experience in sales of medical devices (ideally patient monitoring systems)
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Sales and result oriented personality with very good communication and interpersonal skills
- You can prove your success in selling both disposable products and capital equipment to hospitals
- Experience in dealing with physicians, hospital managers and working with retailers and OEM sales personnel
- Very good conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Organizational talent with a proactive attitude
- "Everything is possible”-mentality
- Strong self-confidence with no fear of presenting in front of others
- Dedication to getting the job done with minimal support and direction
- Used to travel and willingness to a travel a lot
- Near native in German, fluent in English
- Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel
