Job Description Position Title:

EU Transportation & Warehousing Manager Position Summary:
The European Transportation & Warehousing Manager is responsible for managing the Central European Warehouse activities and inbound/outbound Transportation from DC01 Job Description:

Tasks and responsibilities:
  • Promotes safe operation and compliance to transportation regulations according to local and global EHS standards * Operational contact for the Central European Warehouse and European transportation operators * Responsible for the cost and budget related to the Central European Warehouse and the European Transportation * Drives improvements on the logistics complaints inflow according to the department's targets * Leads monthly operational meeting with the key warehousing and logistics partners * Works on constantly optimizing the delivery of logistics services across Europe * Monitor and continuously improves the service level performance of logistics providers against given KPIs and reports it out to the European Logistics Leader * Partners with the Commercial, SIOP, and Customer Service team for the optimization of delivery execution at month/quarter close. * Defines and drives projects for cost/service optimization * Create, maintain and execute on VCP projects * Partners with Logistics Procurement to review the performance of Logistics service providers and define root cause / corrective actions * Seeks and implements competitive cost opportunities while maintaining or improving service levels together with Logistics Procurement Additional Details:

Basic Qualifications:
  • Proven track record of delivering results and project management * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams * Management of change skills * Problem solving and solution driven * Excellent Dutch and English language skills Preferred Qualifications:
  • Working experience in global business utilizing an SAP ERP platform * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Application (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) * University degree, preferably in Logistics or Business Administration or adequate working experience in logistics environment (+5 years) * Preferred GB or BB background. Key Metrics Role is Accountable For:
  • On-time Delivery Performance * % Claimed order lines (service - logistics) * Warehouse inbound booking time and outbound shipments accuracy * VCP (variable cost productivity) * Zero reportable safety incidents * # 5S events Key Relationships:
  • SIOP, CS, Commercial, Procurement Travel Requirements 10 %
