Logistics Manager & Material Manager

A leading automotive company are currently going through a transformation to their supply chain function in Germany. They are in the process of building out a new team looking after logistics and material planning and are looking for talent within both this functions.

The company are a multi-billion dollar organisation who currently employ over 20,000 people. They are in the process of investing heavily into the business due to vigorous growth plans.

Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Logistics & MRP Director
• Implementing and maintaining the inventory according to the value stream mapping
• Participates in each engineering change to ensure smooth phase out and in
• Implementing the Lead concept and controlling the shipping and receiving time windows
• Supporting the bidding process for new logistics contracts
• Implements and follows the DMN procedures

Skills and Experience Required

• Business Proficient German & English is a must
• Automotive background preferred
• Logistics / Supply Chain Background is essential
• Implementation of logistics functions
• Strong e2e supply chain knowledge

We are looking for someone with strong strategic capabilities who can manage stakeholders and implement change. You will have fantastic communication skills, a natural team player in a high performing environment.
