Job Description YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Lead and/or participate in design sessions with Asset Engineers, Hub Data Stewards, Engineering teams, Data Scientists, Product Managers, business and IT stakeholders, that result in design documentation and business metadata capture in Haystack and other systems as needed * Understand business capability needs and processes as they relate to IT solutions through partnering with Product Managers and business and functional IT stakeholders * Implement and utilize data solutions for data analysis and profiling using a variety of tools such as Postman, R or Python and following team's established processes and methodologies * Advocate the stewardship of asset level data that resides outside of the 360 Assets and ensure governance policies are practiced * Lead Open Data efforts, making data FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable) to strengthen Bayer Crop Science's effectiveness in carrying out its mission * Lead trainings and discussions to evangelize these frameworks and objectives - Governance, Data Quality, Data Wrangling, Asset Evangelism and Best Practices * Collaborate with other data stewards and engineers within the team and across teams on aligning delivery dates and integration efforts * Represent the team at various cross team meetings and events focused on design and planning, sharing the results of team efforts, or brainstorming on process improvements WHO YOU ARE * Bachelor's Degree in computer science, biological science, business administration, finance, data science, database administration or equivalent * Several years of relevant business experience * Experience in participating in the build and support of APIs using resource-based design principles * Superficial experience with modern engineering technologies and data principles, for instance:

Big Data Cloud Compute, NoSQL, etc. * Demonstrated critical domain knowledge that provides insight and authority to working groups * Understanding of agile development, continuous deployment, DevOps, and decision science - AI, ML, OR, etc. * High ability to solve problems and to structure and simplify complex tasks * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Very good English skills;
