Senior Legal Counsel (PR/251018) Hamburg, Germany

A German bank specializing in Marketplace & Transaction Banking is looking to add Senior Legal Counsel to their team in Hamburg. As Senior Legal Counsel you will create contracts with the bank’s innovative business customers, including many FinTechs, as well as advise specialist departments on legal matters.

As Senior Legal Counsel You Will:

• Create and review client contracts including individualized cross-border agreements on financing solutions and regulatory services
• Advise internal and external functions on legal questions including negotiations and daily business
• Coordinate with and integrate external consultants within projects and legal disputes
• Update insurance and contractual standard documents (including GTC)
• Respond to official requests for information and other inquiries

As Senior Legal Counsel You Have:

• 5+ years experience in legal function within financial institution
• Expertise in banking, banking supervision and capital markets law
• Qualified Lawyer/Volljurist
• Top scores on both state exams
• English and German business fluency
