In this role you will be working in our fascinating Research & Development department, contributing directly to the product development from scratch until market-entry

We Have

:

• academic degree in computer science, software engineering, physics, mathematics or related disciplines * proficient knowledge in c++ and object oriented programming * deep knowledge in software engineering and software architecture * strong communication skills, open minded * passion for software development in a team * experience in 3d visualization or computer graphics is a plus (opengl, webgl, directx;

rendering algorithms and spatial data structures) * experience in the fields of image understanding, image processing, photogrammetry or similar is a plus. (e. g. opencv) * experience with feature recognition, pattern matching, artificial intelligence etc. is a plus * experience in gpgpu programming is a plus * strong problem solving competence and systematic approach * excellent english language skills, good german skills are desirable how you will make a difference @ faro:

• work in an interdisciplinary team towards the conception and development of the software for our focus 3d and freestyle3d scanners * ensure an increase of data quality and create the

"human centered"
product for our customers through continuous sustainability and creativity * develop efficient and innovative algorithm in the fields of point cloud processing and editing, 3d visualization and image-processing * implement new functions in the software workflow, apis and user-interface what faro can offer you:
