Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Scientific Director to join a leading, US based healthcare analytics organisation who use real-world evidence to provide innovative healthcare solutions. They are looking to build and develop their European clientele. As the Scientific Director you will be responsible for working collaboratively and authentically to transform their real-world data research team.

Duties and Responsibilities

As the Scientific Director your duties and responsibilities will be varied but your main duties will include:

You will be a leader within the organisation and you will engage with researchers and scientists internally and externally to drive the customers success with the platform.
You will identify and solve business issues and encapsulate scientific methods within the organisations products. You will also lead the scientific studies to help customers create impactful evidence.
As the Scientific Director, you will serve as the principal investigator on client and internal projects and ensure delivery on quality, timelines and manage risks effectively.
Design, create and deliver on demonstrations, pilots and training on the organisations platform will be an important aspect of your role.
Collaborating with internal teams to develop and implement scientific protocols and develop reports for customers will be included in your duties.
You will travel up to 50% of the time to interact with clients and develop relationships on-site.

Qualifications and Requirements

A PhD or MSc in a relevant scientific discipline such as, but not limited to, Epidemiology, Health Services or Health Economics.
Professional industry experience working within Epidemiology or Health Economics and Outcomes Research delivering projects or services to life science partners.
Experience designing studies, managing a team, performing advanced analytical work (biostatistics, longitudinal data analysis etc) is essential to your application.
Previous experience using statistical programmes, working with multiple databases and an understanding of epidemiological methods and study design would be highly beneficial to your application.
