Marketing Specialist CE
NETGEAR is seeking a highly motivated individual to market NETGEAR’s portfolio of products and solutions throughout the CE Region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland). The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for project management, implementation, execution and performance tracking of NETGEAR’s consumer, commercial and channel marketing campaigns intended to increase brand visibility, product awareness and grow revenues. The role will team with the CE sales teams across both consumer and commercial business units and work closely with the global corporate marketing team.
Responsibilities include advertising, online marketing, promotions, email marketing, lead generation campaigns, search engine marketing, social media, public relations and events. This role manages external relationships including advertising and PR agencies, media buying agencies, freelancers, content partners, other 3rd party vendors and channel partners.
Specific Responsibilities
Plan and execute high impact, marketing campaigns to generate awareness and sales of NETGEAR products.
Execute integrated marketing promotions across multiple marketing vehicles (online advertising, radio, video, SEM, email marketing, social media marketing, and other media).
Measure and report on effectiveness of marketing campaigns, recommend and implement optimizations to improve program effectiveness.
Work with corporate marketing to manage CE install base marketing strategy.
Manage day to day marketing campaign activities including establishing, updating and publishing activity calendars.
Execute local go-to-market new product launch plans with business goals, strategy, tactics, deliverables and timing.
Program manage launch plans to ensure goals, deliverables and timetables are well understood and executed on-time with excellence.
Communicates regularly to CE sales team and corporate marketing with new product availability, updates, and go-to-market plans.
Manages outside agencies and contractors for marketing and communication related activities.
Teams in developing compelling and targeted messaging for new product and features.
Contributes to planning sessions for marketing initiatives, programs, department priorities.
Works closely with CE sales team and channel partners to develop highly effective and high impact campaigns that generate revenue.
Analyse and track success of all marketing programs. Implement metrics to demonstrate return on investment against the marketing investment.
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:
Creative mind
Exceptional communications skills including, research, writing, editing, presentation and relationship management
Fluent in both German and English.
Ability to think strategically, multi-task, attend to details and deadlines and work well under pressure
Both in-house marketing or advertising agency experience preferred
Track record of completing successful marketing campaigns
Understanding and experience managing social media strategies and tactics
Experience with Salesforce preferred
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
Strong project management skills and ability to perform in fast-paced and high-energy environment
