Für unseren Kunden in München suchen wir zum nächst besten Eintrittstermin einen SAP Data Migration Consultant.
Das Unternehmen schließt einen Vertrag für 6 Monate plus Option auf Verlängerung.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the SAP Data Migration & Archiving area within the SAP Centre of Excellence.
- The SAP Data Migration & Archiving lead will be responsible for providing leadership, guidance and management of Data Migration & Archiving activities on a complex global SAP template.
- Responsible and accountable in defining and delivering the complete data migration and archiving strategy
- Managing internal / external SAP Data Migration & Archiving teams
- Owner of all Data Migration & Archiving tools and responsible for the implementation and maintenance of these tools.
- Work closely with Release & Cutover Mgmt, Data Governance Lead, SAP Basis and Delivery & Program Mgmt, to deliver all upcoming SAP project roll outs.
What we are looking for :
- Minimum 5 years of SAP Data Migration & Archiving experience including at least 2 project SAP implementations for a medium / large SAP client.
- Hands-on experience leading data definitions development, data quality improvements, data model updates, and solving efforts of the analytics projects and collaborating with cross functional teams comprised of client groups, project teams and IT organisations.
- Hands-on experience Identifying, assessing and solving complex business problems for area of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
- Strong experience in managing the resources against the execution of the Master Data Migration Plan and meeting project deliverables within the timelines
- Experience in collaborating data with Data Governance lead, data owners and users/analysts across the customer operations to modify or implement new repeatable and reliable businesses processes to improve and sustain effective data governance resulting in improved quality and consistency of data used to drive key business decisions.
- Experience working closely with Data Architects to ensure changes are appropriately synchronized with the metadata strategy and logical data model.
- As well as leading these areas, hands on configuration & implementation is expected.
- Expertise in implementing and using SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) would be very beneficial.
- Expertise in implementing ETL tools to automatically transform data from legacy systems to SAP loadable values
- Expertise in manual transformation of data from legacy systems to SAP loadable values
- Expertise with migration to S/4 HANA would be beneficial.
- Expertise in implementing and using SAP Archiving such as SAP ILM would be beneficial
- Expertise in setup and management of data archiving & decommissioning of legacy systems.
- Experience of performing multiple TB data of Archiving and working closely with the SAP Basis team to carry out these activities
- Proactive and positive mindset and willingness to raise the bar, especially in regards quality in the areas of SAP Data Migration & Archiving.
- Ability to work under pressure, key team player, willingness to find solutions and be a role model for others
- German & English language skills are a must
