For a client in the Oil & Gas Industry, we are looking for a RBI Risk-Base-Inspection Expert, working on a freelance basis.

Personal requirment profile:

• Knowledge of API RP 580 & 581 (RBI & RBI Methodology)
• Knowledge of API RP 571 (Damage Mechanisms)
• Knowledge of API RP 510 & 530 (Inspection Vessels & Piping)
• Knowledge of API RP 584 (IOW)
• Knowledge of API RP 970 (CCD)
• Language skills: German spoken and written
• Process or Corrosion Engineer with at least 3 years professional experience

Tasks:
Preparation of RBI workshops for initial assessments and re-assessments using the S-RBI method. The IMS PEI program from Cenosco is available as a holistic tool for this purpose.

Preparatory tasks include:
o Checking the completeness of the prepared RBI data according to API RP 580 chap. 7 'Data and Information Collection for RBI Assessment'. In particular, this includes the following data:

• Inspection, repair & replacement records
• Process fluid compositions
• Operating conditions
• DMs, rates & serverity
• COF

o Validation of the data quality according to API RP 580 chap. 7.3
o Review of the classification of the corrosion groups, supplements/changes if necessary
o Review of the data regarding StF & CoF: Comparison of historical data and, if necessary, supplementation with new data
o Development of suggestions for improvements including implementation suggestions
Moderation of the RBI workshop in the role of team leader according to API RP 580 chap. 15.2.2.
Knowledge of the standards listed above should be introduced in the workshops. In the workshops,
strategies for the inspection and possible IOW are to be defined for the corrosion groups under
consideration. The development of detailed inspection plans should take place afterwards.
The documentation of the workshops should be done completely in the tool IMS PEI. In the course of the follow-up, the results of the workshops for

• the preparation of inspection plans
• the proposals for setting up IOWs

processed and documented in an action list. The exact process flow for the follow-up shall be defined.
Beside deep knowledge of the named API standards, the Candidate needs to have senior RBI experiences to prepare all necessary Assessment task, running the workshops and able to prepare inspection plans.

Start is preferred for End of July.
Language: Good German speaking/reading/writing is mandatory.
Timeline will be resident for the coming years (approx. End 2029)
