PURPOSE:
The role of the Community Manager Football is to manage and pro-actively drive assigned projects within Berlins football community. He/She ensures an efficient and successful planning, development, implementation, execution and documentation of the project according to deadlines and within the given budget. Furthermore he/ she is responsible to drive the football network and communicate on a daily basis with key community members.RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and execute community projects by using an integrated, co-creation and long-term community approach
- Develop creative ideas, concepts and strategies often in cooperation with the community
- Direct Communication with key community members
- Ensure rigorous and competitive pricing from agencies and vendors
- Plan, manage and maintain project budgets within the given targets
- Independently lead assigned projects while making sure that project lead/ BU Director is updated at all times
- Build, develop and grow football relevant relationships
- Act unexpected, united, exclusive, passionate and unique
- Manage the creative process including invites, event signage, architecture layout, etc.
- Guide any 3rd party agencies with creative direction and input to deliver according to objectives
PROFILE:
- University degree or equivalent education in the field of Sportsmarketing or Events
- First community / football related experience
- Self-driven and proactive way of working
- Proven ability to plan, organize and execute projects
- Strong abilities in communication, organization and time management
- IT skills: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Language: English: excellent; German: excellent
- Detail-oriented with ability to synthesize small details into overall pictures
- Good presentation, negotiation and communication skills
- Strong networking skills and network in the football ecosystem
- Passion for Football and the Berlin Football Community
- Team player
