Job description

Reporting to the Director Global Sourcing Logistics, the Contract Manager is responsible for managing all contracts that the logistics sourcing team, is negotiating and entering. Contract Manager need to be knowledgeable about the details and benefits of contracts, as well as potential disadvantages. In addition the Contract Manager is responsible for the collection, evaluation and presentation of KPIs within the Global Sourcing Logistics team. They are responsible for the following duties:

Writing, evaluating, improving and supporting negotiations of various contracts covering a range of logistics services for Windfarm Construction
Creation, maintaining, improving of contract templates
Support Global Sourcing PM/EPC by maintaining correspondence and documentation related during contracts negotiation
Communicating and presenting information to internal stakeholders regarding contracts
Monitoring contract negotiations and main contracts inside the Global Sourcing Department and moving forward with close-out, extension or renewal of contracts

Support Sourcing and Execution for problem-solving contract-related issues
Collecting of information regarding the project budgets in relation to the signed contract costs
Collecting, preparation and presenting of department KPIs
Principal link between Purchasing and Legal department

Job requirements

Bachlor or Master of Law or degree in logistics with focus on transport law or equivalent degree or long term experience in managing contracts in the area of logistics and transports

• 3-5 years of professional experience in a comparable position

Deep understanding of contracts, contract governance, contractual language and the contract lifecycle
Excellent understanding of land and sea transport as well as port operation
Knowledge of SAP are beneficial
Superior reading, writing and language skills in English and German
Spanish is beneficial
Effective communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
Exceptional attention to detail, and talent for accuracy and precision
Critical thinking skills and the ability to research and understand legal and financial implications
