DB International Operations, located in Berlin, acquires initiates and manages rail operations and maintenance projects outside of Europe. We are currently looking for an intern to support our passionate and performance driven team and gain valuable insights into how to manage tenders, build local companies from scratch to full operations, steer quality and performance and enable know-how transfer to our customers and rail business in Germany.

Would you like to be part of our journey? Join us as a Project- and Process Management Intern (f/m/d) at our Berlin offices for preferably 6 months, starting as soon as possible.

Your tasks:

• Get to know our business of international mobility services and experience a culture that is an unusual blend of large corporate and agile start-up within one company
• Supporting DBIO project managers and being involved in complex strategic and operational processes of international mobility projects
• Assist in budgeting and quantitative risk management of projects
• Together with our international team, drive Innovation of Process, Product and Technology Development
• Experience bidding for large projects outside of Europe
• Scheduling – developing best practice for project scheduling controls

Your profile:

• You are enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in economics, business studies or project and process management courses or you are in a gap year between your studies
• You have good analytical and conceptual competence, as well as first experience in the field of strategic/ operational process and project management (ideally related to mobility and transport)
• You know how to analyse quantitative and economic risks
• You have social and intercultural competence. You are able to work both independently and as part of a team
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint
• Fluent spoken and written English and German is a requirement an additional language would be a plus
