(Interim) Head of IT

For our location in Berlin we are looking for
Head of IT (m/f/d)

Tasks:

Design, build and operate an IT department for an agile IoT software company with an international footprint
Harmonize the existing solutions in line with corporate IT guidelines based on business needs
Prepare make or buy decision proposals
Take the lead on the full procurement lifecycle for all IT
Setup user support functions for a mixed Windows and Mac environment
Create and implement the necessary (new) lean IT processes and KPI’s
Operate according to KPI’s and user satisfaction
Prepare IT business plan and roadmap/strategy in line with aims and objectives of the business
Oversee and manage IT projects, preparing documentation
Oversee the IT market and make the business aware of future technologies
Build the IT team from scratch

Qualifications:

(for interim): Immediately available
Recent and proven track record as a Head of IT managing and developing high performing teams in an international software developing company
Expertise across IT categories including IT outsourcing
Collaborative and engaging style, with an exceptional ability to forge fruitful relationships with agile development teams
Experience in ITIL implementation
Experienced with a variety of technologies in devices, infrastructure, virtualised, software, applications, cloud and mobile environments
Proven leadership of development teams and activity with hands on mentality
Ability to define and implement a clear IT strategy
Ability to drive best practice processes within a business
Good understanding of IT security and IT risk management frameworks
Vendor management including multiple 3rd party vendors
