Scientific Coordinator (m/f/x)
working time 100% (39 hours per week); limited to 30.09.2022
Your tasks:
- Administrative and scientific coordination of the project
- Development of an own research profile and agenda related to global water quality issues and synthesis of research results from different project work packages
- Conception and organization of scientific meetings and workshops
- Initiation of peer-review papers and preparation of publications, reports, public media contributions and evaluations
- Establishing new contacts to foster collaboration with external partners
- Representation of the project and its research nationally and internationally.
Your profile:
- PhD in aquatic ecology, hydrology, environmental sciences, geo-ecology or civil engineering with scientific expertise documented by peer-reviewed publications
- Interdisciplinary competence
- Experience in project management and fostering scientific networks on national and international levels
- Competences in communication, teamwork and scientific synthesis
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
- Excellent written and spoken English and German languages skills
